Our Approach to Bee Control in Lubbock & Levelland
Every bee problem is a little different, so we adjust our process based on what we find.
Here’s what we typically do during a bee service visit:
- Property evaluation. We start by inspecting your property inside and out. We check around eaves, attics, crawl spaces, and landscaping—anywhere bees might be nesting. Since different bees behave differently, we also look at the species involved. This helps us come up with the right approach for the situation.
- Liquid foam treatment. For active hives, we often use a liquid foam that fills the nest and sticks around for several weeks. It reaches into tight spaces and keeps working over time. If a follow-up is needed, we’ll talk through the next steps with you.
- Dusting treatment. For hives that are tough to access or more advanced in size, we may also apply a dust treatment. This method works well in deeper voids and also reaches larvae that haven’t emerged yet. It’s a solid way to cut off future activity in one sweep. We’ll also treat surrounding gaps where bees might be hiding.
- Bee exclusion work. Once the bees are gone, we don’t stop there. We go through and seal up cracks, gaps, and other common entry points with caulk, cork, or other strong materials. Fall is a great time to seal things up since bees start looking for new shelter before winter hits. This step helps reduce the chance of new nests forming down the road.

Signs You Might Have a Bee Infestation
We always tell our neighbors to keep an eye out for these common warning signs:
- Lots of bee activity around your property. If you're regularly seeing bees around the same area, like a porch, shed, or side wall—it could mean a hive is nearby. We can come out, take a look, and help confirm what’s going on.
- Bees entering cracks, gaps, or holes. Bees love small spaces. They’ll build hives inside wall cavities, rooflines, trees, or even under sheds. If you see bees slipping into tiny openings, give us a call. We’ve dealt with plenty of hidden hives over the years.
- Swarming or clustering bees. If you spot a group of bees gathering in a swirling cloud or clustering in one area, they could be searching for a new nesting site. That’s a good time for us to step in before they settle in for good.
